
Representatives from the òòò½´«Ã½ (òòò½´«Ã½) met with officials from the Department of Finance (DOF), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the House of Representatives on March 19, 2026, at the òòò½´«Ã½ Conference Hall, Eton Centris, Quezon City.
The meeting brought together DOF Undersecretary Renato Reside Jr., IMF Fiscal Affairs Department Deputy Director Michael Keen, and Macro-Fiscal Economist and Technical Assistance Advisor Rosario Lopez Palazzo of the IMF, alongside officials from the House’s Tax Policy Research Service led by Executive Director Novel Bangsal.
The discussion provided a platform to exchange insights on the country’s tax incentive framework, particularly in relation to the CREATE and CREATE MORE laws, and to strengthen coordination across institutions involved in fiscal and economic policy.
òòò½´«Ã½ was represented by President Dr. Philip Arnold P. Tuaño, together with Senior Research Fellows Dr. Francis Mark Quimba and Dr. John Paolo R. Rivera, and Research Services OIC-Department Manager Christine Ruth Salazar.
