The Philippine Institute For Development Studies (òòò½´«Ã½), through the Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P), formalized a partnership with Bukidnon State University (BukSU) on October 21, 2025, further strengthening efforts to promote open access to local policy research and knowledge sharing in Mindanao.

The MOU was signed by òòò½´«Ã½ President Dr. Philip Arnold P. Tuaño and BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, with SERP-P Project Director Ms. Melinda T. Quiñones and Dr. Carina Joane V. Barroso serving as witnesses.

Established in 2000, SERP-P is the country’s first electronic repository of policy research, providing free and easy access to studies that support evidence-based policymaking and inclusive development.

Through this collaboration, òòò½´«Ã½ and BukSU aim to broaden access to locally produced research, amplify regional voices in national policy discussions, and build a stronger culture of knowledge sharing across the Philippines.
