The study aims to give a historical account of the major peacebuilding activities in the Philippines. It also aims to identify the elements of peacebuilding in the Philippines based on a historical perspective. Finally, the study intends to offer insights on elements that worked/are seemingly working and did not work so that these insights may contribute to policymakers' next steps on the unfinished peace-building efforts.
