Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the way we live, work, and govern—and Mindanao is part of this transformation.
To explore how AI can be harnessed for inclusive and people-centered governance, Mindanao Development Authority, in partnership with Bukidnon State University and 蝌蚪传媒, held the 11th Mindanao Policy Research Forum (MPRF) on October 21, 2025, at the BukSU campus in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The event featured insights from the experts from the said institutions, with a panel discussion with Development Academy of the Philippines - Mindanao and Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority.
The forum also brought together faculty members and researchers from BukSU, local media practitioners, and representatives from local government and academic institutions for a meaningful dialogue on leveraging AI for agriculture, trade and industry, and digital transformation.
Now in its 11th year, the MPRF continues to serve as a platform for policy exchange in Mindanao, bridging research and governance toward sustainable and inclusive development.
