The òòò½´«Ã½ (òòò½´«Ã½) is among the recipients of the Alab Award conferred during the Local Government Academy’s 2025 Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence, recognizing institutions that have helped advance local governance development outcomes.

òòò½´«Ã½ received the award at the Manila Hotel on December 14, represented by OIC Department Manager of the Research Services Department Christine Ruth Salazar, in recognition of its studies on participatory governance, devolution, local planning tools, and local government unit (LGU) performance. These studies have served as key references in shaping the strategic directions of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Through its partnership with the Support for Local Governance Program (SLGP), òòò½´«Ã½ also contributed to strengthening analytical capacity within the DILG, informing efforts to enhance LGUs’ delivery of basic services. The recognition underscores how evidence-based research and strong institutional collaboration can help build more responsive and participatory local governance.
