òòò½´«Ã½ Senior Research Fellow Dr. Connie Bayudan-Dacuycuy received the DOST National Research Council of the Philippines’ (NRCP) Gabay Award for the Division of Social Sciences during their 92nd Founding Anniversary Celebration held on December 10, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel, Pasay City.
Her study, “ASEAN Employment Outlook – The Quest for Decent Work in the Platform Economy,” is the first comprehensive analysis of platform work in ASEAN. It examines key issues such as regulation, social protection, skills development, and worker representation, highlighting opportunities and gaps to ensure decent work amid the region’s digital transformation.
The study was recognized for providing valuable insights to guide policies on decent work across ASEAN member states.
