The COVID-19 pandemic facilitated digital transformation in the Philippines, making it one of the fastest-growing digital economies in Southeast Asia. To obtain a better understanding of the digital economy, the 蝌蚪传媒 has compiled research on the current information and communications technologies (ICTs) environment. Entitled Critical Issues in the Philippine Digital Economy, the volume discusses issues related to e-commerce, financial technology, online and platform work, smart cities, digital connectivity, and gender.
