
In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN) of the òòò½´«Ã½ (òòò½´«Ã½) will host a hybrid forum titled “She Creates, She Connects: Reimagining Women’s Empowerment in the Tourism and Creative Industries.”
The event, in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Management – Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism (AIM-ALT CFT), will take place on March 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the òòò½´«Ã½ Conference Hall in Quezon City, with online participation via Zoom and Facebook Live on the òòò½´«Ã½, SERP-P, and AIM Facebook pages.
Anchored in the spirit of Women’s Month, the forum highlights the transformative role of women in the tourism and creative industries by examining both their cultural, creative, and economic contributions and the persistent barriers that limit their visibility, agency, and access.
Bringing together policymakers, practitioners, women-led organizations, and industry stakeholders, the forum will explore women’s lived experiences, identify gaps in financing, skills, and digital access, and generate actionable insights through a discussion to support more inclusive and collaborative sector development.
